Europe's top three powers alongside the U.S. have drafted a resolution for the U.N. atomic watchdog's Board of Governors, demanding transparency from Iran regarding its bombed nuclear sites and enriched uranium stock.
Despite the pressures, Iran remains uncooperative with the International Atomic Energy Agency, raising regional tensions. Tehran has promised retaliation should this resolution move forward.
The resolution is coupled with demands for Iran to implement the Additional Protocol for comprehensive inspections, a critical aspect of a 2015 agreement that fell apart after the U.S. withdrawal in 2018.
