PITTSBURGH —
Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man walked into a Pittsburgh medic station with multiple stab wounds after he said a physical altercation broke out Tuesday morning.
Officials said at 11:15 a.m., police responded to a walk-in stabbing at Medic Station 8 in the 200 block of Walter Street in Pittsburgh's Allentown. A man had sustained a stab wound to the left side of his neck and to his lower back. Advertisement
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The victim later told police that an unknown man stabbed him during a physical altercation in the 200 block of Bausman Street at 8:15 a.m.
Officers later went to the area and were unable to find any evidence of an altercation or stabbing.
An investigation is now underway.
