Scotland have qualified for the men’s football World Cup for the first time since 1998 after a thrilling 4-2 win over Denmark at Hampden Park.

A stunning third-minute bicycle kick by Scott McTominay put Scotland in half-time lead. Rasmus Hojlund equalised for the Danes in the 57th minute, before Lawrence Shankland restored the host’s lead in the 78th.

Kieran Tierney and Kenny McLean scored two stoppage-time goals to seal Scotland’s victory.
