CLEVELAND — As we get Thanksgiving into that 10-day forecast , let's take a look at some stats.
Obviously, Thanksgiving falls on a different day each year, but it's always the end of November. That means the odds of cold and snow are trending upward as we head into winter. Cleveland Hopkins International Airport will be the main example for our purposes.
The warmest Thanksgiving on record in Cleveland was all the way back in 1896: That year hit 70 degrees Fahrenheit for Turkey Day! That's not exactly a common temperature for the end of November.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the coldest on record was almost 100 years ago: Thanksgiving 1930 got all the way down to a whopping 8 degrees.
