SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The 8th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has denied the appeal of a Sioux City woman found guilty on 52 counts related to election fraud.
Kim Taylor, the wife of former Woodbury County Supervisor Jeremy Taylor, was convicted in November 2023 of over 50 counts of voter fraud.
At trial, prosecutors proved that Kim Taylor manipulated Vietnamese parents into voting on behalf of family members or otherwise voting illegally.
In April 2024, she was sentenced to four months in prison and four months of home confinement. She was also ordered to serve two years of supervised release immediately after her release from prison, and to pay $5,200 in a special assessment.
