A former co-worker and Indian national has been charged with killing a mother and her young son eight years ago in a bloody scene in a Burlington County apartment.
Nazeer Hameed, 38, of India, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and weapons offenses after an eight year investigation that included assistance from federal agencies and now entangles two powerful nations.
Hameed was linked to the killings of Sasikala Narra, 38, and her 6-year-old son, Anish Narra, after a droplet of blood found at the scene was discovered to belong to a person unrelated to Sasikala, Anish and the husband and father, Hanumantha Narra, officials said on Tuesday.
