A twisted Bronx dad drove his 24-year-old son and their teen pal to kill a rival outside a local laundromat — but gunned down the wrong man in a tragic case of mistaken identity, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Failed father Norman Moore, 64, allegedly chauffeured his troubled son, Devonte Moore, and the teen to Laundry Bee in Olinville to settle a score on Oct. 7, according to prosecutors.
That’s when their 16-year-old companion, who has not been identified due to his age, got out and allegedly riddled a parked Volkswagen Passat with bullets, striking 26-year-old Fareed Adeyi.
Adeyi, who bought the SUV from the intended target weeks earlier, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
