GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Every day, thousands of people drive right below Phoebe the cat, or as her fans on the internet call her, the S-Curve Kitty.

"They're like, yay, my little guardian of the S-Curve," said Aubrey Barile, the S-Curve Kitty's owner.

Last week, Barile posted a video of her cat to TikTok telling her followers that the S-Curve kitty is watching them on US-131 to make sure they get home safe. That video has now been viewed over half a million times.

"It's just really funny that Grand Rapids has really like, come together to just embrace a little cat," said Barile.

Since then, the five-year-old S-Curve Kitty has gathered a following.
