SCHENECTADY — A Troy man accused of intentionally driving his Mercedes into a Niskayuna AT&T store and damaging property in 2022 was found guilty on all charges by a Schenectady County jury Tuesday.
Steven L. Carrion, 33, faced multiple felony charges after he drove through the front glass entryway of the store at 404 Balltown Road in Mohawk Commons at 11:21 a.m. Sept. 25. 2022, according to a Schenectady County District Attorney's Office press release. After crashing his car into the store in an attempt to injure his ex-girlfriend, an employee of the store, Carrion retrieved a baseball bat from his car and used it to smash items on display while looking for her. No one was injured during the incident, the DA's office said.
