Two occupants, including the suspect, were arrested following a traffic stop
An Airdrie woman was charged with armed robbery in Carstairs following an incident on Monday afternoon.
The suspect entered a business, ordering the employee to give her money from the register, according to the RCMP. The Mounties say the woman had her hand in her pocket, stating she had a firearm.

The employee refused to give in to her demands, sparking a struggle and leading the suspect to assault the employee. The suspect then fled the business in a vehicle.
Didsbury RCMP responded to the incident at around 3 p.m.
Airdrie RCMP officers, while assisting in containment efforts, found the vehicle driving southbound on Dickson Stevenson Trail, north of Airdrie, in Rocky View County.
