CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland police are investigating a shooting that occurred on the 1300 block of E 141st Street Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched around 3:20 p.m. to a young man laying in a driveway who appeared to be assaulted.

When officers arrived on the scene with East Cleveland Emergency Medical Services, they determined the young man suffered a gun shot wound to the shoulder.

The young man was treated on the scene and was transported to the University Hospital Emergency Department.
