The Saskatchewan Roughriders kept the party going back in Regina.

Players rode down the Green Mile on Albert Street to the Legislative Building with beers and celebratory cigars still in hand. There, they were greeted by thousands of fans to show their support for the team.

Saskatchewan won its fifth-ever CFL championship on Sunday when it defeated the Montreal Alouettes 25-18 in Winnipeg, Man.

Quarterback Trevor Harris, who was the Grey Cup’s Most Valuable Player, spoke to the crowd as questions still circle over whether he will play another season or call it a career.

He told the fans he appreciated all the love they are receiving from them.
