Elections are one of the great privileges of living in a democracy. They ask something important of us: not just our opinions, but our time, energy, and faith in the process. To every resident who took the time to cast a ballot, either at City Hall, during early voting, or on Election Day, thank you. To everyone in the Clerk’s office who conducted a competent and efficient election process, thank you. Participating in local elections is how we shape the community we love, and your engagement is what keeps Newburyport strong.
