A $1 million Mega Millions prize sold nearly a year ago in Valley Stream, Long Island, is about to expire, New York Lottery officials warned Monday, according to the New York Daily News.
The winning ticket matched all five numbers but not the Mega Ball in the Dec. 13, 2024 drawing. It was purchased at Cold Cut Express on Dubois Ave. in Valley Stream. The numbers were 36, 43, 52, 58, 65 and Mega Ball 16.
Winners have one year to claim their prize. If no one steps forward by Dec. 13, the money will return to the lottery pool. So far, “no one has claimed the prize,” a representative from the New York State Gaming Commission told The New York Daily News.
