Showrunner Howard Gordon addresses The Beast in Me season 2's prospects. Netflix's new psychological thriller miniseries arrived on the streaming service on November 13, and there are already discussions about extending it beyond its initial eight episodes.

In an interview with PEOPLE , showrunner Howard Gordon was asked if there is potential for The Beast in Me season 2, and he offered a brief and straightforward reply, " Always. We'll see how the show does and I would say if there's a story, we would be open to it ."

Regarding what a second season might entail, Gordon says he hasn't started exploring any concepts yet. " No, not yet. Well, to myself ."
