WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Ahead of the holiday season, the Kansas Humane Society is offering a different type of adoption for parents who may be unsure their family is ready for a pet.

The Kansas Humane Society said Tuesday that the shelter’s store now has plush toys available for adoption, perfect for a holiday gift. Each pet comes with a certification of adoption and a signed contract agreeing to take care of your newest family member.
