Rajajinagar MLA S Suresh Kumar becomes the first elected representative among 28 MLAs in Bengaluru to become a traffic cop for a day.

MLA Suresh Kumar submitted an application to the traffic police seeking permission for him to become a traffic cop for a day. “I applied to the traffic police seeking permission to be a traffic cop for a day . I submitted the application last week. I am very happy to get the permission from the traffic police,” he said.

Kumar selected Rajajinagar’s busy Bashyam Circle to assist the personnel and spent two hours, from 9 am to 11 am, regulating the morning rush. According to him, the experience offered rare insights into the daily challenges faced by traffic police and the difficulty of enforcing rules in Bengaluru’s chaotic traffic.
