Georgia football rose up a spot in the College Football Playoff rankings after an impressive victory over Texas.
The Bulldogs are slotted at No. 4, the highest-ranked one-loss team. The top three in the top 25 released on Tuesday Nov. 18 are unbeatens Ohio State, Indiana and Texas A&M.
Georgia won its sixth straight game Saturday with a 35-10 torching of Texas , scoring 21 fourth-quarter points to put the game away.
The new reveal came from a 12-person selection committee that saw its chairman, Baylor athletic director Mack Rhodes, step down last week from the committee for what were termed “personal reasons.”
Arkansas athletic director Hunter Yurachek moved up to chairman and Utah AD Mark Harlan joined the committee.
