SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Hundreds of students gathered at Western New England University for the 20th annual Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge, transforming the campus into a bustling trading floor.
The event, organized by Junior Achievement of Western Massachusetts, aimed to prepare students for careers in finance and business by simulating stock market trading. Nearly 400 middle and high school students participated, experiencing 60 days of trading condensed into one hour.
