For the first time, the Department of Horticulture will host a flower show at Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park from November 27 to December 7 as part of Karnataka Rajyotsava and Children’s Day celebrations. Alongside floral displays, the upcoming event will feature art and cultural festivities. Preparations are underway with thousands of decorative, indigenous and exotic flowering plants, as well as animal-themed floral sculptures.
Sources said that the 11-day exhibition will be set up near the Bandstand, the Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar statue, and the Bal Bhavan premises, with an estimated cost of Rs 2.38 crore.
