Melbourne's iconic Myer Christmas window display for 2025 has been unveiled in collaboration with Lego.
And the designers have well and truly learned their lesson from last year's display, which was supposed to honour the Irwin family and Australia Zoo, but was criticised for falling into the 'uncanny valley' of nightmares rather than yuletide whimsy.
This year's Lego themed display took over 12 months to plan, involving teams from Stage One Productions, and the Lego Group, including certified Lego professional Ryan McNaught, also known as The Brickman. This year also celebrates the department store's 70 th anniversary of its famed window displays.
The six-window display features 488,215 Lego bricks and tells the story of a letter to Santa making its way from the Melbourne post office
