A Volusia County father, Alan Olson, was arrested after confronting a man who allegedly sold a THC cartridge to his 15-year-old daughter, leading to a series of events that ended with Olson facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Sheriff's deputies reported that Olson took the law into his own hands after discovering the situation through his daughter's cellphone.
He arranged a meeting with the alleged dealer, Cameron, by ordering a marijuana vape pen from him. The confrontation took place at a Circle K on Providence Boulevard, where Olson allegedly brought a gun.
Investigators said Cameron arrived at the meeting spot with his pregnant girlfriend. Olson confronted him, which scared Cameron and his girlfriend, prompting them to flee in their car.
