Seahawks add son of Hall of Fame wide receiver

The Seattle Seahawks made a notable roster move Tuesday, signing wide receiver Brenden Rice, the son of Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, to their practice squad.

The addition brings a familiar name back to Seattle, where his father briefly finished his legendary career.

Jerry Rice, a 13-time Pro Bowler and three-time Super Bowl champion, played the final 11 games of his career with the Seahawks in 2004. While his time in Seattle was short, he remains one of the most iconic players in NFL history.

Now, his son will have an opportunity to carve out his own role with the franchise.
