No. 17 Michigan State (4-0) turned in its best shooting performance of the season and dominated No. 12 Kentucky (3-2) for an 83-66 win on Tuesday night in the Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden.
The Spartans snapped a two-game skid in the annual event and picked up their first Champions Classic win at MSG after losing their previous four. They’ve now won back-to-back games against Kentucky while improving to 6-9 in the 15 th year of the four-team showcase.
