Pittsburgh police said a man was shot and two homes were damaged by gunfire during a shooting in Homewood on Tuesday.
According to police, just before 6:30 p.m., officers were called to the 7000 block of Monticello Street in Homewood for a ShotSpotter alert for eight gunshots.
When police arrived, they found a man with a single gunshot wound to his arm. The victim was sent to a hospital in stable condition, police said.
Two homes in the area were damaged by the gunfire. The extent of the damage wasn’t immediately clear. Police said no one inside the homes was injured.
A gun and shell casings were found at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
