ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - One person was arrested while another is still being sought for a shooting that happened at Monroe Street and MacArthur Drive in Alexandria, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

On Nov. 17, APD said Jordan Welch , 19, was arrested in connection with the case, charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He is described as a Black male, 5’10” tall and weighing 190 pounds. He has an active warrant for his arrest for one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
