Jasir Bilal Wani, a close aide of Umer-Un-Nabi, who allegedly drove the i20 car that blew up near the Red Fort on November 10, was sent to 10 days NIA custody by a special court on Tuesday.
The NIA nabbed the alleged co-conspirator on November 17. He was the second person to be arrested by the anti-terror agency in the case.
It had made the first arrest on November 16, when Kashmiri resident Amir Rashid Ali was held, who was allegedly conspiring with Nabi and providing him logistical support, the NIA had told a Delhi court on Monday. It had also informed the court that he would be taken to Kashmir for further investigation.
Ali was taken into custody by the Jammu & Kashmir Police from his home in Pampore a few hours after the blast, however, he was arrested by the NIA on November 16.
