HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A convicted felon who allegedly admitted to stealing guns from a storage locker has pleaded not guilty in federal court.

Sidney Campbell, 45, is accused of stealing a collection of firearms and ammunition from a storage locker in Pearl City on Oct. 25.

Court documents say he admitted to the break-in after being identified on surveillance video.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said he gave information that led FBI agents to recover multiple rifles and pistols, as well as gun parts including barrels, magazines, and suppressors.

Campbell has six prior felony convictions, including one for burglary in the first degree.

Federal law prohibits him from possessing firearms and ammunition.
