New Delhi, Nov 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to former Prime Minister of India, the late Indira Gandhi, on her birth anniversary.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote, “Tributes to former PM Smt. Indira Gandhi Ji on the occasion of her birth anniversary.”

Indira Gandhi served as India’s Prime Minister from 1966 to 1977, and again from 1980 until her assassination on October 31, 1984. She was born on November 19, 1917.
