TAMPA -- Jake Guentzel had a hat trick for the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 5-1 win against the New Jersey Devils at Benchmark International Arena on Tuesday.

It was Guentzel’s eighth career hat trick and third with the Lightning.

Darren Raddysh had a goal and two assists, and Nikita Kucherov had a goal and an assist for the Lightning (10-7-2), who have won nine of their past 12 games (9-3-0). Andrei Vasilevskiy made 24 saves.

Tampa Bay coach Jon Cooper missed the game due to personal reasons. Assistant coach Jeff Halpern served as head coach.

Nico Hischier scored for the Devils (13-5-1), who had points in five straight (4-0-1). Jacob Markstrom made 31 saves.
