The political party of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has alleged that the police “manhandled” and “violently detained” the jailed leader’s sisters outside Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. They were denied a weekly meeting with the party founder, reported Pakistani news website Dawn .
PTI posted on X, alleging Aleema Khan, Noreen Niazi and Dr Uzma Khan were “sitting peacefully” outside the Adiala jail late on Tuesday when the incident took place. The PTI further said that apart from Imran Khan’s sister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Minister Meena Khan
