GREEN BAY — There was no official announcement on Tuesday that the Green Bay Packers intend to open the 21-day practice window for wide receiver Jayden Reed.

But the smile that creased Matt LaFleur’s face after his non-answer answer on Monday, and the in-full-uniform photo Reed posted on his social media accounts on Tuesday sure give the impression that Reed is on the cusp of returning to action.

The third-year wide receiver, who led the Packers in receptions and receiving yards in both 2023 and 2024, broke his collarbone during the Packers’ 27-18 victory over the Washington Commanders on Sept. 11 .
