The rankings were bound to have a major shakeup following Oklahoma's 23-21 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. Alabama was ranked No. 4 before the loss. The Sooners were ranked No. 11.
Alabama suffered its second defeat of the season, but its first in the SEC. Florida State knocked off the Crimson Tide 31-17 in Week 1.
