New Delhi: Jio has upgraded its AI offering just a day after we broke the news about Gemini 3.0 Pro benchmarks and the model card leaking ahead of launch. The timing could not have been more interesting. Google officially announced Gemini 3 today and within hours Jio revealed that it is rolling the same model into its Jio Gemini Pro Plan. It is rare to see a major Indian telecom match global AI releases this closely and this move suggests Jio is trying to position its AI product as something more mainstream for regular users.

The upgrade also expands access. What began earlier as a youth targeted offer is now being opened to all eligible Jio Unlimited 5G users. This shift alone will push the feature into far more hands.
