One year later, the Ravens moved one step closer to capturing their second-state championship in the past four years by defeating Seneca 4-0 in Robbinsville.
“We got to this game last year and lost a tough one,” said Robbinsville head coach Jeff Fisher, whose team fell to Sterling in the semifinals last season. “I think that game was in their heads this whole season, and they wanted to get back to this game and take that next step to the state final.”
Chris Lewis led Robbinsville (17-7-1) with two goals, including one with 3:12 remaining in the first half that made it 3-0. Josh Sanchez had the assist.
