CLEVELAND, Ohio – Bookhouse Brewing announced it will close at the end of the year.
On Facebook, the brewery attributed “a significant decrease in revenue in 2025” for the pending shutdown, with the final day “on or around 12/31/2025.”
“Paired with ongoing economic headwinds, we are unable to continue to bring you 14 unpopular beers and 2 IPAs in a charming setting,” it said.
“Speaking of that setting, we are in discussions with folks to continue keeping 1526 W. 25th St alive in the capacity of a gathering place, to offer the unique charm of Ohio City, Cleveland, to all-comers of our fair city.”
The brewery said it has three remaining releases:
• Modern Craft Pils.
• Celestial Spirit IPA (West Coast IPA, a collaboration with Noble Beast Brewing Co.).
• Whoops! Lil Juicy New England
