The latest versions of two major initiatives to update Richmond’s zoning ordinance and improve transportation in Shockoe Valley are now out in the world for public inspection.
The city on Tuesday released the second draft of its Code Refresh zoning ordinance update, a two-year process to rewrite the ordinance that, through zoning designations and mapping, regulates land use throughout the city.
It also held a design hearing at Main Street Station on its Shockoe Valley Streets Improvement Project, another yearslong effort aimed at improving transportation networks in the area around Oliver Hill Way.
The public is encouraged to review both plans and provide feedback online or, in the case of Code Refresh, at one of three open houses being held today
