Both the House and Senate have voted nearly unanimously to release the Epstein files, Tuesday Nov. 18, with only one lawmaker voting "no" and a handful abstaining.
In the House, only one congressman, Republican Clay Higgins of New Orleans, voted against the release, citing damage it could cause to witnesses and victims by revealing their names to the public, USA TODAY reported .
Trump quickly took to his Truth Social platform to react to the bill's passage.
"I don’t care when the Senate passes the House Bill, whether tonight, or at some other time in the near future," the post reads . "I just don’t want Republicans to take their eyes off all of the Victories that we’ve had."
