In a unanimously adopted resolution, the Naga Common Platform (NCP) reaffirmed its support for the Framework Agreement and the Agreed Position
The Naga Common Platform Stakeholders on Tuesday urged the Government of India (GoI) and Naga negotiators (NSCN-IM and the Working Committee of NNPGs) to fast-track a final settlement to the decades-long Naga political issue, as thousands gathered at the Agri Expo grounds in 4th Mile, Chumoukedima for a massive public rally demanding clarity, commitment, and closure to the long-running peace process.
Spearheaded by the Nagaland Gaon Bura Federation (NGBF) and supported by a broad coalition of Naga civil society organisations, the rally drew around 5,000 participants, signalling growing impatience among the Naga public over stalled negotiations.
