Port Huron Museums has scheduled a series of events for November and December.
The events will take place at the Carnegie Museum, 1115 Sixth St., and the Thomas Edison Depot Museum, 510 Thomas Edison Parkway, according to a community announcement.
Paint Your Own Brick Library, is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Nov. 22 at the Carnegie Museum. Participants can paint bricks to resemble their favorite books, which can be used as doorstops, garden stones or gifts. The cost is $20-$25.
On Nov. 24, the Thomas Edison Depot Museum will host a screening of "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" from 5:30-7 p.m. The film is part of the museum's Cult Classic series and is described as a science fiction/comedy movie from the 1960s. Admission is $5-$7.
