India’s captain Shubman Gill is set to be back after that neck strain in the first Test. The BCCI just shared some good news about him. He’s traveling with the squad to Guwahati for the second Test, but they’ll decide if he plays right before the match.

Gill hurt his neck after just three balls in the first Test, which forced him off the field. He couldn’t bat again in that innings or in the second one either, so India missed him, and it definitely hurt their chances.
