The holidays are just around the corner.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) , there are a host of scams that pop up throughout the holiday season that people across the United States should keep an eye out for.
There’s non-delivery scams — when someone pays for a product or service online that never comes — for one, as well as non-payment scams, which is kind of the opposite: shipping a product but not receiving money for it. Victims of these scams were out more than $309 million in 2023.
There’s also auction fraud — during which a product that was purchased was misrepresented — as well as gift card fraud (when the scammer asks someone to pay with a pre-paid card). Morgan Stanley adds that package delivery scams as well as bogus c
