UAE flag carrier Emirates has just announced at the Dubai Airshow 2025 that it has added another eight examples of the Airbus A350-900 to its large and diverse order book. The deal, which is valued at $3.4 billion in terms of list prices, will see these aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB84 engines.

Accounting for this latest order, Emirates has now committed to a grand total of 73 Airbus A350-900 jets, of which 13 have already been delivered to the widely revered Dubai-based airline. Earlier this week, the Middle Eastern carrier made headlines with an even bigger order for 65 examples of the Boeing 777-9 .
