Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Wednesday said that winter vacations for classes from Nursery up to Middle level in Kashmir division are expected to begin in the first week of December due to the prevailing cold conditions.

Speaking to reporters as per KNS , the minister said the department has already reviewed the situation. “We have held a meeting regarding this, and winter vacations for Nursery to Middle classes will commence from the first week of December,” she said.

The concerns raised by parents and schools regarding books and other academic requirements have also been addressed. “A meeting has been held and necessary directions have been issued,” she said, assuring that the department is closely monitoring the academic calendar as weather conditions continue to wo
