The National Honor Society chapter at New Life Christian School in Ballenger Creek was recognized with the Pillar Service Award of Excellence.

The recognition comes from the national organization that annually awards chapters from middle and high schools across the country for excelling in one or all of the organization's pillars: scholarship, service, leadership and character.
