It is the kind of goal Scott McTominay would have dreamed about as a boy.

Scotland haven't played at the FIFA World Cup since 1998, and they entered Tuesday's final qualifying game against Denmark needing to win to top Group C and seal their place at next summer's tournament in North America.

Step forward McTominay. He needed only four minutes to deliver a wonderful overhead kick -- to send Scotland 1-0 up before eventually winning 4-2 -- that will be remembered as one of the best goals in Scottish football history.

Scotland scored two other incredible goals on Tuesday -- see, Kieran Tierney 's curler or Kenny McLean 's halfway line effort -- but it is the overhead kick that may be the best of the lot.
