ORLANDO, Fla. – The Kia Center will soon host a brand new indoor football team.

The Massachusetts Pirates have relocated to Orlando and will kick off in March as the Orlando Pirates .

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer on Monday shared pictures on social media showing the team’s new football helmet and celebrating the return of indoor football to downtown.

The Pirates have one Indoor Football League title and have been to several conference championships.

The team will compete against 14 other teams.
