CANTON − City managers and non-bargaining employees will get a 3% raise in the new year.
The wage increase is a cost-of-living adjustment and will be effective Jan. 1, Mayor William V. Sherer II said.
The raises — approved Nov. 17 by City Council — are at the discretion of employees' appointing authority. Elected officials are not eligible for the wage increase.
Salary minimums and maximums for all salaried and non-bargaining employees will also increase by 3%.
