On September 8, police in Los Angeles responded to a report of a foul smell coming from a Tesla in a Hollywood tow yard registered to the singer d4vd (real name David Anthony Burke). Human remains were reportedly found in the car, “chopped up and heavily decomposed,” according to TMZ . The victim was later identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, and police reportedly searched Burke’s home as part of the ongoing investigation.

On Tuesday — more than two months after Rivas’s body was found — d4vd was identified as a suspect in Rivas’s death, police told ABC News . No arrests have been made as of Wednesday morning.
