Ruben Amorim has defended his formation once again as Manchester United look to continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League .

The Red Devils are five games undefeated in the top flight, and have drawn their last two fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham respectively.

Both of those matches finished 2-2 , with Amad Diallo and Matthijs de Ligt rescuing a point on both occasions for United.

Amorim’s side sit seventh in the table after 11 games, one point off the top four.

The Portuguese head coach admitted that his team were “far from perfection”, but claimed that the formation was “the start of something”.
